‘Pachamama’

A short film

The Story
A Quechua-speaker from the Andes expresses his devotions to mother earth and gives thanks to all that the world brings us.

The Production
The film was created while working on the documentary ‘Indigenize the Plate.’ Oliver Alvarez, one of the participants in the doc, collaborated with the project’s director of photography (Julien Jarry) to create this short piece. Between shooting days, Oliver composed and performed the poem which drives the narrative and Julien served as director - pairing the visual and sound elements with musical accompaniment provided by Oliver.
