Missing and murdered indigenous women & girls COVID-19 Relief Fund
The Southwest Indigenous Women’s Coalition (SWIWC) is a statewide (Arizona) tribal domestic and sexual violence non-profit organization, which offers training, technical assistance, policy advocacy, outreach, education, and resources to indigenous, grass roots, boots-on-the-ground service providers that are on the front lines working to end violence in their respective indigenous communities.
Initially, SWIWC's focus was on assisting tribes and local organizations dedicated to addressing missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls (MMIWG), however, this effort is now expanding to include anyone in indigenous communities who are targeted due to how they identify or whom they love.
All contributions above $100 are tax deductible
Priorities may adjust as needs shift during global crisis. An updated breakdown will be provided.
About SWIWC
SWIWC is entirely run by indigenous women with an all indigenous governing board. Collectively they have built a vast network over 14 years, representing and serving 22 tribal communities.
