Ron has been living with a secret and contemplates how life will change when he comes out to the people who he is closest to.

ABOUT THE FILM
In collaboration with Julien Jarry, this film was a spontaneous creative opportunity born from a community film-making challenge program. The program consists of filmmakers looking to push their creative limits requiring each participant to write, shoot, cut, and deliver one film a week for six weeks. Some films end up being an exercise in experimentation and others become the seed of a more developed idea. ‘Liminal Spaces’ is the latter. Writer, director, Ernie Zahn used all six weeks creating short films surrounding the theme of insomnia and how it relates to avoiding personal truths. The result was a short piece that explores the emotional process involved in making the choice to come out to friends and family.
